New Wheels

sometimes those not so fun trips are the most relaxing
we had to drive to King City to pick up our new wheels
what is King City, you say?
i would have to say that it is one of the worst towns i have ever visited
but we had to go
to pick up our new wheels
we visited Robert's aunt's house
i loved her house
it was so cute

robert's aunt had the most gorgeous backyard
so, of course, i had to try out my new nifty camera

it was so windy
Parker was trying to figure out what was going on
every time there was a wind gust, she would do a little happy/scared dance

Riley decided it was the perfect weather to save the world in
i love my bug
his playtime is so creative
he comes up with the best stories

Robert's aunt had some gorgeous plants that i had to shoot
the yellow daffodil above was one of the only blooming flowers in her garden

she also had a gorgeous blooming tree
i have no idea what kind of tree it was
...
but i want one

now, onto the main event...
our truck!
Robert was like a little kid at Christmas
it was so cute

the green one in front is ours
we traded the brown truck (the one in back) for the green one
the best part is
the truck only cost us $400
praise the LORD!

Robert's dad is a mechanical genius
he can fix anything
he completely rebuilt both trucks
by himself

there is definitely talent from that side of the family
i'm excited to see how it blossoms in my children

check me out in my new wheels

Baby it's cold outside...

it snowed last night...

it was beautiful.

my son was so excited

the dog, not so much.

Riley went all around the property, checking on everything

 my handsome boy...

The horses actually seemed to be enjoying the weather
 even Pete the donkey!

Riley kept asking me if he could eat some snow. next time i'll have to make him some snow cream

and what is snow without some awesome snowballs?

until the next storm...

Reboot

so...i'm 30... i know, right? am i supposed to feel all grown up? because i still feel like i'm 16. oh well!

i am in serious need of a reboot, of sorts. it's time to press and hold my power button, so here we go.

right now, my husband and i are transitioning to having our own home. it comes with some catches, though. it needs a lot of tlc, which i can do, as long as i can add a couple of hours into my day... this won't be a problem, will it?

my kids are each going to get their own room, complete with a theme of their choice. my kitchen is going to be remodeled, to include a main island. this means wall removal...woohoo! we need a new fireplace, and all of the flooring needs to be replaced.

did i mention i homeschool my seven year old son? i also work part time teaching at the local dance studio.

i wouldn't trade any of it for anything. i love my life and my family.

hello thirties...i've been waiting for you...

this is going to be amazing

James 3:2

Indeed, we all make many mistakes. For if we could control our tongues, we would be perfect and could also control ourselves in every other way.
